Everyday natural makeup routine

Hey y’all. I figured I’d share my favorite makeup products and which ones I use daily to form a natural, everyday look. I absolutely love the process of applying makeup, this takes me around 15-20 min.

I start by spraying my face with Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater as a primer for my makeup. Moisturizing your skin is important for an even makeup application.

Then I apply a pump of Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup to my forehead and each cheek and evenly blend Morphe M439 deluxe buffer brush. I evenly stroke the foundation to all areas of my face and down my neck. I then do a dab motion all over the face with the brush so that there are no streak marks. This foundation is full coverage and is my absolute favorite. It literally lasts all day. I wear shades fresco (lighter) & pebble depending on if I have a tan or not.

After foundation application, I apply Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer to my undereye & any blemishes & blend. After blending, I apply Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder to my eyelids, under eyes, the center of my forehead & an inch above my jaw line. This creates a flat matte look similar to my natural skin. It also helps to keep the makeup from creasing. The brushes used are from a big set I bought about a year ago, something along the lines of this.

I then apply MAC Studio Careblend Pressed Powder in shade medium dark with bareMinerals Full Flawless Face Brush around my hairline, above my cheekbones & down my neck. This sets everything & adds a bit of dimension to my face.

Next, I use Tarte’s Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette for eyelids & eyebrows. I use shades free spirit, caregiver & super mom (three shades to the left) all over my eyelid, up to my eyebrow to create a matte skin tone coverage on my lids.

I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #12 to brush my brows into place and apply shades wanderer & power player with SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Smudge Brush #11.

I also use Glossier’s Boy Brow in shade brown. This adds texture to the brow hairs & creates a more natural look, while also darkening. I love this product!

Next, I add a pop of color to my cheeks using Colourpop’s Between The Sheets Blush. I apply this half an inch above my cheek bone. Right above the blush, I apply Colourpop’s Wisp Super Shock Highlighter for a light shimmer. I just think highlighter looks pretty in the sunlight. Both brushes are from my larger set.

First I apply a coat of COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara waterproof version in shade “very black” & then a coat of COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion Mascara again in the waterproof & same shade. This has always been my favorite mascara. I’ve been using it for 8 years.

After my mascara is finished I apply e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner in shade Jet black. This is my holy grail product. I absolutely love elf’s liquid liner & it happens to be $2. I keep one in all my bags. The brush is perfect, it lasts forever, it stays in place & its super easy to create the perfect wing with.

I then wipe away any foundation from my lips, moisturize them with a little bit of Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment. My lips are typically pale so I add a little bit of MAC lipstick in shade “Velvet Teddy” to bring them to life.

Finally, I set everything with some final sprays of Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater (obsessed) to give my face that glowy moisturized look.
